Fee
for Individual Tutoring, $125
per hour
- E-mail
me at info@college-essay.com if you'd like to work on an individual
basis.
- Let me
know whether you'd like to meet in my home (I'll send directions) or
at a local library in Marin.
- We'll
begin with one or more tutorial sessions, followed by an online exchange
of your essay drafts with my suggested revisions and specific corrections.
- We'll
continue meeting face-to-face as well as sharing essay drafts by e-mail,
as long as it takes to complete your application essay.
Fee
for Online Service,
$125 per hour
- Save your
essay in Word as a .doc file to e-mail to me.
Note:
Whether you submit your essay online or work with me individually, this
is NOT a custom essay-writing service. I won't write your essay for you.
You'll write and I'll guide, just as if you're working one-on-one with
a sympathetic teacher. It's your time to shine.
Method
of Payment
- Contact
me at info@college-essay.com if you'd like me to read your essay and
comment on it. I'll let you know where to send a check for one hour
of my fees. In your e-mail, please include your phone number, e-mail
and postal addresses.
- I'll read
your essay and e-mail you my suggestions and comments. After you revise,
you'll e-mail your work back to me. We'll continue sending your essay
back and forth online until I've completed the full hour you paid for.
This will include a minimum of one to two revisions.
Immediate
Time Frame
- Within
one day of receiving your draft, I'll return your corrected essay or
short answer responses by e-mail. I'll make specific suggestions for
improvement of the content as well as point out grammar and punctuation
errors.
- Expect
to revise your work. After you've looked at my comments and made changes,
e-mail me your revised draft, and I'll make further comments and suggestions.
Take advantage of this opportunity to rewrite your essay thoughtfully
and carefully in order to send the college your best work.
Big
Picture Time Frame
- You'll
want to begin this important process at least a month before the application
is due in order to revise and refine your work.
- UC
applications are due at the end of November. Most private colleges expect
your completed applications by the end of December or early January.
